Art Dice (Kindergarten)

Thank you Pinterest for this wonderful idea!  Went to Hobby Lobby and invested in a ton of wooden squares and sharpies and created these little line dice.  I was so worried about the kindergartners throwing the dice across the room, but they did wonderfully with them.  It was AMAZING.  All you could hear was the roll of dice and drawing, absolutely no talking!  I wish I had more photos of the artwork, but they were so anxious to get them home to show their parents.  If you haven't done this yet and you're an art totally need to!

Me Quilts (5th Grade)

This 5th grade lesson was created during the 1st six weeks of school.  Students folded their paper into 12 squares and then drew things they liked and their names.  The name had to be spread out in the boxes and when drawing they had to utilize all the space in their square.  Outstanding job 5th grade!

Name Roller Coaster (4th Grade)

This is a project 4th grade did the first 6 weeks of school.  Students drew a series curvy lines across their paper.  They repeatedly wrote their names between the lines, making sure the letters touched the top and bottom of the lines.  They outlined their names in black marker and then colored in the different shapes with various colors.  The kids really enjoyed this lesson, I think they turned out great!

My sub for last week had students draw something related to Thanksgiving.  I wonder if he had time to look these over.  I laughed so hard when I saw these.  Crazy, funny kids!

You're gonna need a bigger fire, cowboy.

Angry Turkey Killers

The cornbread offering.  They still ate him, even if he was wearing a tux.

Check out the turkey in the oven.

Wha wha whaaaa!

Elephants In Socks

I had a sub lesson prepared for a sick day last week where students were given a drawing prompt.  Elephants in socks.  I had to post these, they were so so darn cute!
