Snow Peeps Collage (2nd Grade)

Now that it's 70 degrees outside I guess it's time to post last month's snowmen and women collage.  Yeah, we got a warm spell coming up this week, boo!  I want more cold weather :(

The 2nd grade students first traced two circle templates on white paper to create the snowman body and head.  Then they glued the circles to blue construction paper.  They created the nose by cutting a large triangle shape out of orange construction paper. They made their scarves out of two different sized rectangular construction papers and created patterns by cutting strips of 2 different colored papers.  The final step was painting the snowflakes and drawing the arms and mouth with black oil pastels.  They turned out marvelous!  Good job guys :)
